It all comes down to the “God-Factor”. A God who is personal.
As Christians, there are many promises we’ve been given, many insights to be seen and much wisdom to be understood from the Word of God. There’s power in the word of God. We have relationship with Jesus and Father God. God is a good God. We know Him and He knows us.
The “Universe” is not our God. The One who created the Universe is our God. While His presence is within the universe, He is also far beyond the universe. Omnipresent, Omniscient, Alpha, Omega, The Beginning, The End. The Word says He is the author and finisher of our faith (and our whole lives if we let Him be God). You are not an accident or a mistake. You are not just some “formless substance”. You are spirit. Jesus said the “words” He spoke were “Spirit” and truth. All life is of spirit, for life is the very essence of God Himself who is spirit.
The universe creates just like we also create because we are made in the image of the creator. We are spirit beings, even as He is spirit. We have a soul (mind, will and emotions). We live in a body. In Christian Life Coaching, there is acknowledgement of all these parts of our life…anything less and we miss an integral part of ourself.
There is a plan and purpose for your life. Lack of peace, anxiety, depression, frustration and hopelessness can all be signs and warnings that we are not in that plan. We are not living in our full potential, using our God given gifts or fulfilling that plan and purpose for which we as an individual were created.
The other awesome aspect of Christian Life Coaching is including God, His principles, Word and Prayer into our lives for maximum effects. God works through others for you, and works through you for others. Someone around the other side of the world whom you’ve never met can be moved by God to pray for you, while the answer of that prayer may come to pass through a different person or unexpected way.
A blessing about Life In Christ is that it’s not all based on us, nor are we limited to what we think, want, see, feel or know. God is our deliverer, our friend, our comforter, our guide, our director. He has given us vision, put dreams in our heart. Christ died for us to walk in victory, fulfillment and purpose. However, it’s up to us to reach out, to listen, to see and follow as He leads. It’s all about a personal relationship.
